20-Year Anniversary of Purchase of the 91 Express Lanes
Overview
On January 3, 2003, the Orange County Transportation Authority acquired the assets and liabilities of the California Private Transportation Company. This includes the Franchise Agreement rights to the 91 Express Lanes. Since 2003, the 91 Express Lanes has provided over 275 million trips on the Orange County segment. Staff will be recognizing the accomplishments during this 20-year anniversary celebration.
