Overview
The Orange County Transportation Authority operates the City of Irvine iShuttle service through a cooperative agreement funded by the City of Irvine. The service requires 24 buses, 12 of which have exceeded their federally-defined useful life. A request for quotes has been developed to purchase replacement buses through the California Association for Coordinated Transportation/Morongo Basin Transit Authority Purchasing Cooperative.

Approve the release of Request for Quotes 9-1001 to purchase 12, 30 to 32-foot compressed natural gas-powered heavy-duty buses, with an option for five additional buses from qualified vendors under the California Association for Coordinated Transportation/Morongo Basin Transit Authority Purchasing Cooperative.
