Overview
On April 22, 2024, the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors approved the award to purchase replacement vehicles for OC ACCESS service. The replacement plan included purchasing ten battery electric vans through a separate procurement. As a result, a proposal from a qualified firm under the California Association for Coordinated Transportation/Basin Transit Purchasing Cooperative was received and Board of Directors’ approval is requested to award an agreement for the purchase of these vehicles.

A. Approve the selection of Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc., doing business as Creative Bus Sales, Inc., as the firm to provide up to ten battery electric vans for OC ACCESS.
B. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate and execute Purchase Order No. C-4-2109 between the Orange County Transportation Authority and Model 1 Commercial Vehicles, Inc., doing business as Creative Bus Sales, Inc., in the amount of $2,060,576 for the purchase of up to ten battery electric vans for OC ACCESS.
