Overview
On August 24, 2026, the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors approved the release of an invitation for bids to procure subscription renewals for VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Live Recovery. Bids from qualified firms were received and Board of Directors’ approval is requested to award an agreement for the purchase of subscription renewals for VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Live Recovery.

A. Find Saitech Inc., the apparent low bidder, as non-responsive for failure to provide a fully burdened firm-fixed price total bid amount, inclusive of taxes, in accordance with the bid instructions.
B. Find SUNSTONEIT, LLC, the second low bidder, as non-responsive for failure to provide proof of authorized reseller status for VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Live Recovery, in accordance with the bid instructions.
C. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate and execute Blanket Purchase Order No. C260518 between the Orange County Transportation Authority and Sidepath Inc., the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, in the amount of $5,713,113, to provide subscription renewals for VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Live Recovery.
