Overview
The Orange County Transportation Authority, in partnership with the California Highway Patrol, California Department of Transportation, and the Orange County Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies, provides the Freeway Service Patrol program in Orange County. The California Highway Patrol, in accordance with state law, supervises the program. To ensure adequate supervision during hours of operation, approval of a new cooperative agreement with the California Highway Patrol is requested.
