Overview
The Orange County Transportation Authority has received grant funds for the McFadden Avenue Transit Signal Priority Pilot. To advance this project, a cooperative agreement is necessary. A cooperative agreement between the Orange County Transportation Authority and the City of Santa Ana is necessary to facilitate grant-funded bicycle, pedestrian, and transit improvements along McFadden Avenue. Board of Directors’ approval of the cooperative agreement is requested.

Recommendation(s)
A. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate and execute Cooperative Agreement No. C-3-3087 between the Orange County Transportation Authority and the City of Santa Ana, in an amount up to $3,690,000, for the design, construction, and evaluation of the McFadden Avenue Transit Signal Priority Pilot.
B. Authorize staff to make all necessary amendments to the Federal Transportation Improvement Program and execute any necessary agreements to facilitate the recommendations above.
