Overview
On December 12, 2016, the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors approved a cooperative agreement between the Orange County Transportation Authority and the Department of California Highway Patrol to provide Construction Zone Enhanced Enforcement Program services for the Interstate 405 Improvement Project between State Route 73 and Interstate 605. An amendment to the cooperative agreement is needed for additional funding and to extend the term of the agreement through December 31, 2024, to complete project closeout activities.

Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate and execute Amendment No. 2 to Cooperative Agreement No. C-6-1437 between the Orange County Transportation Authority and the Department of California Highway Patrol, in the amount of $600,000, for Construction Zone Enhanced Enforcement Program services for the Interstate 405 Improvement Project between State Route 73 and Interstate 605, and to extend the term of the agreement through December 31, 2024. This will increase the maximum cumulative obligation of the cooperative agreement to a total contract value of $7,600,000.
